Da Empire e Game of Thrones a Viola Davis, tutte le nomination ai Golden Globes 2016

Tradizionalmente noti come anticamera degli Oscar, i Golden Globes 2016 si terranno il prossimo 10 gennaio a Los Angeles. Le nomination per la prossima edizione dei premi, assegnati dalla Hollywood Foreign Press Association, sono state annunciate giovedì 10 dicembre da Angela Bassett, Chloe Grace Moretz, America Ferrera, e Dennis Quaid.

Tanti i titoli e gli attori tra i più popolari del 2015 ad aver conquistato una nomination per il premio, i cui vincitori saranno annunciati in una cerimonia in diretta televisiva presentata da Ricky Gervais, alla sua quarta volta da conduttore. Quest’anno sarà il primo dal 2012 a non essere condotto da Amy Poehler e Tina Fey.

Grandi vincitori dei Golden Globes lo scorso anno sono stati Boyhood e The Grand Budapest Hotel, mentre nell’ambito delle serie tv si affermarono The Affair, appena rinnovata da Showtime, e Transparent.

Empire, Game of Thrones, Mr. Robot, Narcos e Outlander: sono questi i titoli che si sfideranno ai Golden Globes 2016 nella sezione Miglior serie tv drammatica. Casual, Mozart in the Jungle, Orange is the New Black, Silicon Valley, Transparent e Veep si daranno battaglia invece nella categoria Miglior serie Comedy/Musical. American Horror Story: Hotel e Fargo conquistano una nomination per la sezione Miglior miniserie o film tv e dovranno vedersela con American Crime, Flesh and Bone e Wolf Hall.

Tra i nomi di spicco nelle sezioni dedicate agli attori (protagonisti e non) figurano Jon Hamm per Mad Men, Bob Odenkirk per Better Call Saul, la vincitrice dell’Emmy Award 2015 Viola Davis per How to Get Away With Murder, Taraji P. Henson per Empire, Jamie Lee Curtis per Scream Queens, Jeffrey Tambor per Transparent, Patrick Wilson per Fargo e la popstar Lady Gaga per American Horror Story: Hotel.
