Il nuovo singolo di Ed Sheeran estratto dall’atteso album di collaborazioni, non poteva che essere un featuring. Stavolta il collega scelto è Khalid che affianca Ed Sheeran nel raccontare un tema delicato che farà sicuramente riflettere in tutto il mondo.
Da No.6 Collaborations Project, il nuovo disco in programma per il 12 luglio, Ed Sheeran sceglie di rilasciare Beautiful People, una canzone che sottolinea la necessità e l’importanza di essere se stessi anche quando questo significa essere diversi da tutto ciò che ci circonda, dalle “belle persone” completamente diverse da noi.
Da oggi è disponibile anche il video ufficiale che ne enfatizza il significato traducendo in immagini ciò che Ed Sheeran e Khalid cantano.
Una serie di situazioni scorrono sullo schermo, dalle eleganti sfilate di moda ai party in piscina fino alle feste notturne. C’è una coppia che rompe la normalità, catapultata in modo di eccessi e di lusso che non sembra appartenerle: i due si sentono fuori posto e tendono ad isolarsi. Ai party notturni preferiscono dormire, alle sfilate di alta moda si annoiano, alle feste preferiscono la settimana enigmistica. Il loro viaggio si concluderà con un volo su un aereo privato: i due scenderanno e ad attenderli ci sarà un autista privato con tanto di autovettura ma i due sceglieranno di salire sulla navetta aeroportuale, tra lo stupore del conducente.
