Dopo l’annuncio entusiasta del cantautore inglese sui social, a strettissimo giro la nuova versione di Perfect di Ed Sheeran e Beyoncé ha fatto il suo debutto sulle piattaforme streaming, su Youtube e negli store digitali.

La romanticissima ballata di Sheeran, perfino più di Thinking Out Loud (impresa che sembrava insuperabile), incontra ora la voce di Queen Bey in un remix che mantiene molto della versione originale ma che si arricchisce della voce nera della diva di Houston e di cori ad incorniciarla.

Beyoncé entra nella canzone dopo il primo ritornello, per poi unirsi alla voce di Sheeran nel successivo e fino alla conclusione del brano: un bel mix di voci molto diverse e un ritorno alle origini per Queen Bey, che può tornare qui a mostrare la morbidezza e la sontuosità della sua voce in parte sacrificate dallo stile urban dell’ultimo album Lemonade.
