Sam Smith a X Factor 2017 apre il 2° Live Show tra Too Good at Goodbyes e Stay With Me

Sam Smith a X Factor 2017 alla vigilia del nuovo album, The Thrill Of It All, atteso per il 3 novembre con Universal Music. I Live Show di X Factor Italia accolgono in studio, ogni settimana, ospiti italiani ed internazionali, a Milano per presentare i rispettivi nuovi progetti discografici.

Gli ospiti internazionali del secondo Live Show, atteso in diretta su Sky Uno per giovedì 2 novembre, sono Dua Lipa e Sam Smith. La prima presenta il singolo di platino New Rules, Sam Smith, invece, ricorda l’uscita del nuovo disco di inediti e le tappe italiane della tournée che nel 2018 lo porterà a calcare i palchi di tutta Europa.

A X Factor Italia, Sam Smith ha registrato la sua esibizione qualche giorno fa e giovedì 2 novembre viene trasmessa in prima serata su Sky Uno e in contemporanea su NowTV.

L’artista ricorda la pubblicazione di The Thrill Of It All, atteso successore di In The Lonely Hour, album di debutto straordinario che ha registrato un successo di carattere mondiale con un’esibizione che si apre sulle note di Stay With Me, la hit pubblicata nel 2014.

Dopo Writing’s On The Wall, colonna sonora del film di James Bond presentato nel 2015, è invece il singolo Too Good at Goodbyes a riportare in scena Sam Smith, scritta in collaborazione con Jimmy Napes e Stargate. Nel corso del secondo Live Show di X Factor, Sam Smith ha presentato anche il nuovo brano, attualmente in radio.

“Questa canzone parla di una relazione che mi ha coinvolto e fondamentalmente tratta di come si può stare bene dopo che si viene mollati. È da molto tempo che non pubblico qualcosa di nuovo, e penso che questo primo singolo fissi lo stile di ciò che arriverà in seguito”.

Con queste parole, Sam Smith ha presentato il pezzo rilasciato a settembre che anticipa il disco The Thrill Of It All. L’artista sarà in Italia il prossimo anno per due concerti-evento attesi rispettivamente per venerdì 11 maggio al Mediolanum Forum di Assago (Milano) e per sabato 12 maggio all’Arena di Verona.
