Nomination ai Grammy Awards 2017, da Justin Bieber a Beyoncé e Adele tutti i candidati

Da martedì 6 dicembre sono ufficiali le nomination ai Grammy Awards 2017: la 59esima edizione del premio più prestigioso per musicisti e interpreti sarà condotta da James Corden, che sceso dall’auto del suo Carpool Karaoke vestirà uno smoking per consegnare i celebri grammofoni d’oro in diretta sulla CBS il 12 febbraio.

Erano in lizza per entrare in nomination ai Grammy Awards 2017 solo gli artisti hanno presentato i loro ultimi lavori all’attenzione della Recording Academy tra il 1° ottobre 2015 e il 30 settembre 2016. Non stupiscono dunque le assenze di grandi nomi come Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, John Legend e Bruno Mars, che avendo rilasciato i loro album dopo il termine previsto potranno comunque concorrere al premio per il prossimo anno.

Cinque i candidati per ogni categoria, 84 premi in totale da consegnare: le nomination per le sezioni principali (Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Record of the Year, New Artist) sono state annunciate da Meghan Trainor durante lo show mattutino CBS This Morning, mentre tutte le altre sono state ufficializzate online sul sito dell’evento.

Ovviamente sono state rispettate le previsioni della vigilia: non potevano mancare numerose nomination per Adele e il suo best seller mondiale 25, per Beyoncé col celebratissimo ma anche contestato Lemonade, per l’album quasi postumo di David Bowie Blackstar, per la coppia Drake e Rihanna rispettivamente con View e ANTI.

Anche Justin Bieber con Purpose ha conquistato la nomination nella prestigiosa categoria per il premio Album dell’Anno, che si contenderà con Adele, Beyoncé, Drake e Sturgill Simpson per A Sailor’s Guide to Earth. Chance the Rapper e Chainsmokers sono tra le principali rivelazioni dell’anno a contendersi il relativo premio.
