Shawn Mendes rilascia il video di Mercy, in attesa del nuovo disco Illuminate

A due giorni da Illuminate, Shawn Mendes rilascia il video ufficiale di Mercy, singolo che sarà contenuto nel nuovo disco di inediti di prossima uscita. L’artista canadese, com’era lecito aspettarsi, è stato seguito dai fan con il solito zelo, testimoniato dalle migliaia di tweet in #MercyVideoToday.

La clip ufficiale del singolo era attesa da diverso tempo, tanto che la Mendes Army ne richiedeva il rilascio a gran voce. È però nelle ultime ore che Shawn Mendes ha rilasciato il video di Mercy, quasi a voler dare un assaggio di quello che sarà il prossimo disco di inediti.

Già noto il tour internazionale, che toccherà anche l’Italia anche se per una sola tappa. Il tutto esaurito della data di Milano, prevista per il prossimo 6 maggio, ha suscitato più di qualche polemica, dal momento che, a pochissima distanza dall’apertura delle prevendite, già non si poteva più acquistare il biglietto.

A differenza del videoclip di Mercy, la tracklist, con 15 brani totali inseriti nell’edizione Deluxe. Di questi, già noti Mercy, Treat you better, Three Empty Words e Ruin. La versione standard si ferma invece a 12 brani, rimanendo orfana della versione acustica di Mercy, di Hold On e Roses. Ecco la tracklist completa.
