Miley Cyrus diventa giudice e coach: il ritorno in tv con The Voice insieme ad Alicia Keys

Per la prima volta The Voice USA avrà una giuria composta per metà da donne: saranno Miley Cyrus e Alicia Keys, due artiste che più diverse non si può, a sedere sulla poltrona rossa della prossima edizione del talent show negli Stati Uniti in onda in autunno.

Miley Cyrus e Alicia Keys sono state annunciate come giudici e coach dell’undicesima stagione del format in onda su NBC dall’account Twitter ufficiale del programma.

La cantante di Bangerz ha a sua volta confermato su Twitter che tornerà in televisione con The Voice, a dieci anni dal debutto della serie tv Hanna Montana che l’ha resa una teen idol.

Le due si uniscono ai veterani Adam Levine e Blake Shelton. Rappresenteranno una novità assoluta per The Voice, visto che altre star come Christina Aguilera, Gwen Stefani e Shakira sono state in giuria per diverse stagioni, ma la prossima sarà la prima con due donne come coach.

Miley Cyrus debutterà già nella stagione attualmente in corso, come mentore per i concorrenti di uno dei team del programma nella puntata in onda lunedì 28 marzo.

Di recente Miley Cyrus ha festeggiato il decennale dell’esordio nei panni di Hanna Montana, il personaggio che ha tentato metaforicamente di “uccidere” in questi ultimi anni trasformandosi in un’icona della trasgressione a tutti i costi.

Tutto il mondo festeggia dieci anni di Hannah Montana, ma il nostro viaggio è iniziato molto tempo prima quando nessuno aveva idea di chi fossimo.[…] Non importa quello che è successo nel corso degli anni (nessuno ha idea di come fosse, ma era come il mondo reale ma con più teenager in crisi ormonali) e l’amore tra noi non può essere messo in discussione. Anche se sentivo che il personaggio non mi rappresentava, sarò sempre grata per l’opportunità e il trampolino di lancio che mi è stato offerto. Niente di tutto questo sarebbe stato possibile senza tutte le persone che hanno contribuito alla serie, dai personaggi fissi alle guest star, ai creatori, registi ecc

To the world it’s a celebration of 10 years but for us the journey began way before the world had any clue who the fuck any of us are ….. There was a very long auditioning process, and many chemistry reads which really is what sold the show to the producers and channel because no matter what went on over the years (which none of you have any clue about but It was like the real world but more hormonal teenagers) our love for each other was unquestionable…. Even though I feel disconnected to who I was at that time I will always feel eternally grateful for the opportunity and platform I was given …. None of it would have been possible with out every single person who ever contributed to the series …. From regulars , to special guests (and there were many magical ones @dollyparton ?) to creators, crew , directors….. I am where I am because of loyal fans that I am thankful for and of course love dearly all the new angels who support me now….. Even though HM is chopped up into little tiny pieces and buried in my backyard she will always hold a very special place in my heart! Celebrate this day with us!
