C’è anche un inedito di Bruce Springsteen nella colonna sonora di Blinded By The Light. Il drama di Gurinder Chadha è ispirato alla musica del Boss e tra le sue canzoni c’è anche un brano inedito dal titolo I’ll Stand By You. Ad interpretarlo nella colonna sonora è lo stesso Springsteen.

Il film racconta la storia di un ragazzo inglese di nome Javed, di origini pakistane, che si avvicina alla musica di Bruce Springsteen e proprio grazie a questa trova la forza per andare avanti e per combattere al fine di realizzare i suoi sogni. La musica del Boss gli consente di dare il meglio di sé nelle piccole e grandi sfide del quotidiano; gli dona nuova speranza e porta un raggio di luce nel suo periodo buio.

Blinded By The Light sarà disponibile nelle sale cinematografiche italiane dal 29 agosto e, parallelamente, è stata rilasciata la colonna sonora nell’album Blinded By The Light: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. Nel disco ci sono 12 brani scelti tra i più significativi della discografia di Bruce Springsteen in aggiunta al brano inedito I’ll Stand By You, scritta inizialmente per essere inserita nei film di Harry Potter ma mai effettivamente comparsa tra le musiche della saga ispirata al giovane mago.
