Liam Gallagher contro Noel, ancora. Questa volta la polemica riguarda l’assenza di canzoni degli Oasis nel docu-film As It was. La pellicola racconta la sua carriera ed è stata presentata nelle scorse ore a Londra. Nel corso della presentazione, Liam Gallagher ha spietato che non ci sono canzoni degli Oasis perché suo fratello Noel si è opposto fortemente.
A riferirlo è Musical Express che riporta le parole di Liam Gallagher contro Noel ma anche a favore del film che funziona perfettamente nonostante la mancanza di pezzi di un capitolo importante della sua carriera.
“Penso che la musica degli Oasis sia tutto ciò che gli sia rimasto quindi lasciamolo andare avanti così”, sono le aspre parole di Liam gallagher nei confronti di suo fratello, reo di aver rifiutato di inserire canzoni degli Oasis, alle quali ha collaborato anche lui, nel documentario As It Was che riguarda il percorso artistico di suo fratello.
Il film “funziona bene anche senza le canzoni degli Oasis, penso stia in piedi lo stesso”, ha continuato Liam nel presentare As It Was, la pellicola sulla sua carriera solista, nata dopo l’addio agli Oasis – band di successo che aveva fondato con suo fratello.
As It Was è diretto da Charlie Lightening e Gavin Fitzgerald. Racconta il percorso musicale di Liam dopo lo scioglimento degli Oasis nel 2009. A seguire ha fondato il gruppo Beady Eye, in attività fino al 2014 e i Wonderwall.
As It Was anticipa il nuovo disco di inediti di Liam Gallagher, il secondo da solista. Why Me? Why Not è il titolo del progetto anticipato dal singolo Shockwave disponibile da oggi in radio e in digital download.
