Il ritorno di Lana Del Rey con Super Movie, remake di On Our Way? Testo e audio dell’inedito

La scorsa estate Lana Del Rey aveva sorpreso pubblico e critica con un album raffinato e coerente, stilisticamente perfetto. A distanza di meno di un anno da Honeymoon, è tornata con un brano inedito, dal titolo Super Movie.

Non si tratta formalmente di un nuovo singolo, ma di un brano inedito, probabilmente registrato durante la lavorazione dell’ultimo album ma non incluso nella tracklist ufficiale né rilasciato altrove.

Il brano è apparso sul canale ufficiale della Del Rey e rappresenta la prima significativa novità dal rilascio di Honeymoon, pur non anticipando di fatto nuovi progetti.

Super Movie ha la stessa atmosfera onirica che caratterizza i brani di Honeymoon. Il brano sembra essere una rielaborazione di una demo precedentemente trapelata, dal titolo On Our Way, che è stato inciso nel 2010 e nel 2012. Le due canzoni condividono infatti gli stessi versi del coro “Spin me round kiss me in your Chevrolet, I love you more with each and everyday“, come si può ascoltare nell’audio della demo.
