Anche quest’anno i Teen Choice Awards 2016 eleggeranno film, serie tv, canzoni e in generale ai volti più amati dal pubblico dei giovanissimi: Pretty Little Liars e The Vampire Diaries hanno conquistato il maggior numero di nominations in questa edizione dei premi per quanto riguarda l’ambito serie tv.
La prima tornata di candidature è stata appena annunciata e, con grande sorpresa, due serie considerate ormai quasi al capolinea e decisamente destinate a non durare troppo a lungo si confermano comunque le più amate dal pubblico dei teenagers.
Le ragazze di Pretty Little Liars sorprendentemente conquistano sei nomination, inclusa quella principale nella categoria come miglior tv drama. Anche The Vampire Diaries riceve un gran numero di nomination, sia per la serie sia per i suoi attori, ma compaiono anche Empire, i supereroi di The Flash e Arrow, gli zombie di The Walking Dead e iZombie, le serie fantasy come The 100 e Once upon a time.
Poche le nomination per le serie di Shonda Rhimes: Grey’s Anatomy concorre con Empire, Gotham, Pretty Little Liars, Rosewood e Shades of Blue nella categoria Choice Tv Show: Drama, mentre Kerry Washington nella categoria Choice TV Actress: Drama per Scandal. Stranamente nessuno degli attori di Grey’s Anatomy ha spuntato una nomination per un Teen Choice.
La corsa ai premi è ufficialmente aperta. I fan possono votare una volta al giorno per ogni categoria da ciascuna piattaforma fino al 2 giugno. I voti possono essere inoltrati attraverso TeenChoice.com, con la app FOX NOW e via Twitter usando l’hashtag relativo alla categoria con il nome del candidato che si intende votare.
I Teen Choice Awards andranno in onda su FOX il 31 luglio con la cerimonia di premiazione. Ecco le nomination per la sezione TV.
