A distanza di cinque anni dall’ultimo lavoro discografico, i Red Hot Chili Peppers tornano con Dark Necessities, singolo che anticipa l’uscita del nuovo album prevista per il 17 giugno e intitolato The Getaway. L’annuncio dell’uscita nel nuovo singolo è stata annunciata qualche giorno fa tramite i canali social, ma solo da giovedì 5 maggio abbiamo potuto sentire il brano per la prima volta.
Il brano pilota di The Getaway è stato prodotto da Danger Mouse, mentre è stato mixato da Nigel Godrich. Già annunciate anche le date del tour italiano. I cattivi ragazzi di Los Angeles approderanno in Italia l’8 ottobre per una data all’Unipol Arena di Casalecchio Reno (Bologna), mentre 10 ottobre saranno al Pala Alpitour di Torino. Le prevendite partiranno il prossimo 13 maggio dalle ore 11, mentre disponibili in esclusiva sull’app My Samsung a partire da mercoledì 11 maggio.
