OnePlus 2 riceve il primo aggiornamento OTA, che porta con sé OxygenOS 2.0.1 e, tra le altre cose, risolve il bug di Stagefright che sta attanagliando il mondo Android, come del resto già fatto dalla Oxygen 1.0.2 su OnePlus One. Il resto del changelog parla di una migliore autonomia, miglioramenti alla logica ed alla coerenza della UI, e vari bug fix, tra cui uno per Google Foto, uno con il tema scuro, ed uno per l’importazione/esportazione di contatti dalla SIM.

Today, we’re excited to announce the first OxygenOS over-the-air update. OxygenOS 2.0.1 includes various bug fixes as well as a security patch for the Stagefright security exploit.
Changelog:
- Added a patch for the Stagefright security exploit
- Improves battery performance
- Improves user interface logic and coherence
- Fixed an issue with pinch-to-zoom in Google Photos
- Fixed an issue where Dark Mode would cause instability in certain apps
- Fixed an issue related to import/export of contacts stored on SIM card
- Additional support for global carrier APNs
- Other improvements and bug fixes
