Una vera sorpresa il Coca-Cola Summer Festival 2016. Non lo ricorderemo solo per le esibizioni tagliate su RTL 102.5 (Nek e Madh sono tra i “poverini” che non sono riusciti a far ascoltare la loro canzone, in diretta, per intero sulle frequenze di RTL perché interrotti da messaggi promozionali o simili) ma anche per le vittorie più ingiuste di tutte le edizioni.
La quarta tappa ha visto il trionfo di un improbabile Kungs con This Girl, una canzone che stenta a decollare. Forse l’ascolteremo nei prossimi mesi ma alla data odierna sembra impossibile che abbia superato i voti e il posizionamento nella classifica EarOne di Sofia di Alvaro Soler, tanto per citarne una.
Quando Briga ha perso il primo posto in classifica a favore di Aston Merrygold, Twitter si era ribellato giudicando il risultato assolutamente impossibile. A pensarlo non erano solo le fan del rapper emerso da Amici di Maria De Filippi ma anche tutti coloro che avevano sentito poco sia l’artista che la sua canzone, Get Stupid.
Il Coca-Cola Summer Festival 2016 lo ricorderemo per i risultati sorprendenti e le classifiche stravolte all’ultimo minuto dopo il voto ponderato. Se nella prima puntata, fin troppo scontata – ma meritata – è stata la vittoria di Alvaro Soler, già nella seconda c’era qualche dubbio su Elodie Di Patrizi e la sua Amore Avrai, un brano che ha tutta l’aria di essere un futuro tormentone ma, appunto, non attuale.
Dopo il trionfo di Aston Merrygold nella terza serata dello show dell’estate, è stato Kungs con This Girl ad aggiudicarsi la maglia rosa del quarto ed ultimo appuntamento e a confermare lo stesso risultato nella classifica generale.
La canzone dell’estate 2016 è This Girl, dunque, anche se a molti ancora non sembra possibile. Davvero, tra voti del pubblico da casa e classifica EarOne, Kungs ha superato il posizionamento di artisti italiani come Benji e Fede, Briga, The Kolors, Lorenzo Fragola?
