Nella terza sfida tra i giovani emergenti del Coca-Cola Summer Festival è stato Madh ad avere la meglio: il cantante, concorrente dell’ottava edizione di X Factor Italia, ha conquistato un posto per la finalissima che si terrà questa sera, domenica 26 giugno, in diretta da Piazza del Popolo di Roma.
Dopo la vittoria di Ermal Meta e Irama, anche Madh supera la sua sfidante, Marianne Mirage, che sul palco del Coca-Cola Summer Festival 2016 si è presentata con il brano in francese, La Vie. L’artista sardo, però, ha convinto la giuria composta da 5 big – Emma Marrone, Nek, Max Gazzè, Luca Carboni e Francesco Renga – e da 5 blogger grazie alla sua Powerlife, singolo adatto per la stagione estiva.
Madh, classe 1992, è conosciuto al grande pubblico per la sua partecipazione al talent show di Sky, X Factor 8. Il cantante è giunto alla finalissima che si è svolta al Mediolanum Forum di Assago ma è stato superato dal collega e amico Lorenzo Fragola, che ha conquistato la vittoria in quella edizione.
Marco Cappai – è questo il vero nome di Madh -, dopo il successo dei primi tre singoli, Sayonara, Gong e River, è tornato con Powerlife, un brano che si prepara a diventare una delle hit dei prossimi mesi estivi e con la quale questa sera si batterà con gli altri due finalisti del circuito Giovani per conquistare il riconoscimento finale.
