Siamo soltanto a tre settimane di distanza dai The Game Awards 2019, la serata di gala che sostanzialmente conclude l’anno videoludico andando ad assegnare quelli che a tutti gli effetti si possono considerare gli Oscar dei videogiochi. Un momento particolarmente sentito da parte dei producer e degli studi di sviluppo, che con un premio del genere vedrebbero coronato il lavoro svolto durante mesi e mesi di sacrifici.
Ovviamente nel grande marasma di titoli che sono giunti sul mercato nel corso di quest’anno soltanto pochi riusciranno ad aggiudicarsi le ambite statuette, suddivise come ad ogni edizione per categorie di riferimento. E non mancano di certo i grandi nomi pronti a calcare il palco dei The Game Awards 2019, viste le release di un certo calibro che hanno fatto la loro comparsa sugli scaffali fisici e digitali, calamitando su di sé le attenzioni di una community come sempre affamata di novità.
Basti ad esempio pensare semplicemente al recentissimo Death Stranding, al fresco e rinnovato Call of Duty Modern Warfare oppure all’atteso (quasi all’inifnito) Kingdom Hearts 3. È stato insomma sicuramente un anno da incorniciare per chi ama i videogiochi, e scegliere chi tra i tantissimi meriterà il premio dedicato per ogni singola sezione sarà ovviamente impresa a dir poco difficile.
The Game Awards 2019, chi la spunterà?
Per fortuna il gran numero di prodotti videoludici è stato preventivamente scremato, con le prime selezioni che hanno dato vita a sezioni dedicate alle nomination composte di sei diversi titoli. Una scrematura preliminare che non semplifica però il compito dell’incoronazione, vista la grande qualità delle produzioni incluse nelle candidature.
