I vincitori degli iHeartRadio Awards 2017 sono ora ufficiali. Sono stati i più grandi nomi della musica internazionale ad avvicendarsi sul palco del Forum di Inglewood in California, per dare vita a una delle più grandi serate musicali che abbiano avuto luogo in questo inizio 2017. Tanti i trionfatori e i nominati di categoria, da Adele a Justin Bieber, alcuni dei quali hanno partecipato alla serata con un’esibizione live.
Tra questi, anche Ed Sheeran, fresco di pubblicazione del nuovo disco, che sul palco dell’arena californiana ha portato Castle on The Hill e Shape of You. L’artista britannico ha anche ritirato il premio di Justin Bieber, che ha trionfato nella categoria Best Lyrics con Love Yourself, di cui Sheeran è co-autore. Il cantautore di Divide ha spiegato come sia nata la canzone e ha rivelato che il successo ottenuto è stato molto più di quanto si aspettasse.
Se Adele è l’artista femminile dell’anno, Rihanna e Drake non potevano che essere presenti agli iHeartRadio Awards con Work, con la quale hanno ottenuto la statuetta nella categoria R&B Song of The Year. Immancabile anche Justin Timberlake e la sua Can’t Stop The Feeling, nominata all’Oscar 2017 per essere il tema principale di Trolls, film d’animazione prodotto da Dreamworks. Questa tornata è però andata decisamente meglio: il brano di Justin Timberlake si aggiudica la statuetta come canzone dell’anno.

L’artista di 24K Magic ha appena rilasciato il nuovo singolo dal suo ultimo album, That’s What I Like, di cui ha pubblicato anche il relativo videoclip.
