Dopo tante speculazioni e previsioni, le nomination per i Grammy Awards 2016 sono diventate finalmente ufficiali: la produzione della 58esima edizione del premio musicale più prestigioso al mondo ha annunciato lunedì 7 dicembre i nomi degli artisti che concorrono per la vittoria dell’ambito riconoscimento.
A differenza dello scorso anno, le prime cinque categorie sono state annunciate durante uno show tv mattutino della tv statunitense, mentre quelle degli altri premi sono state pubblicate sul sito ufficiale.
Taylor Swift continua a confermarsi tra i più nominati a qualunque premio musicale si sia svolto nell’ultimo anno, grazie al successo riscosso con l’album 1989. Anche Ed Sheeran e The Weeknd, grazie agli album X e Beauty Behind The Madness compaiono in più categorie come candidati ai Grammy Awards 2016. Kendrick Lamar è risultato il leader assoluto con 11 nomination. Tra le popstar ha guadagnato una nomination anche Lady Gaga con Diane Warren per Til It Happens to You, colonna sonora del documentario The Hunting Ground, nella categoria Song Written for Visual Media.
I vincitori saranno annunciati il 15 febbraio, come sempre con una cerimonia ufficiale con tanto molto glamour e lustrini come se piovesse.
