Remix OS è finalmente disponibile per Nexus 9. Ma andiamo con ordine.
Remix OS è un progetto nato dai sorgenti liberi di Android, recentemente aggiornato all’ultimo 5.0 Lollipop. Questo interessante fork di Android è stato ideato per funzionare al meglio collegato ad un mouse ed una tastiera, con accorgimenti come la taskbar e la possibilità di avere più finestre in multitasking sul “desktop”.
Il firmware è stato reso disponibile per HTC Nexus 9 – nota bene: è possibile flashare Remix OS solo se il vostro Nexus 9 ha il bootloader sbloccato.
Ecco una rapida guida per l’installazione:
- Scaricare Remix OS per Nexus 9:
- Scompattare il pacchetto software e usare fastboot per flasharlo con i seguenti comandi:
⦁ fastboot flash system system.img
⦁ fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
⦁ fastboot flash boot boot.img
⦁ fastboot reboot
Non dovrebbe essere necessario ma, come al solito, raccomandiamo un full wipe prima di procedere all’installazione.
Nella giornata di ieri, inoltre, Remix OS è stato aggiornato alla versione 1.5, che porta con sé l’ultima distribuzione del robottino verde, Android 5.0 Lollipop. Ecco le novità:

Prossimamente arriverà anche la versione 2.0 di Remix OS – è prevista anche per Nexus 9, che dovrebbe aggiungere miglioramenti all’interfaccia utente ed alle core-app.
